Air Duct Cleaning

In the process of looking for an Air Duct/HVAC Ventilation System cleaning service provider, do check with the local Better Business Bureau. Our industry is unregulated, so checking with local organizations such as the Better Business Bureau is one of the best ways to screen potential service providers and is recommended by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. To check out our record go to www.bbbhou.org

.We are also very proud of our customer service. "We are not satisfied until you are satisfied" is our mantra and we stick to it! We won't make you wait around all day for our cleaning technician. We call our customers the evening before to give you a one hour window and the job is always done before we leave, with no mess left behind. With over 5,000 ventilation systems cleaned, our staff is experienced and understands the variety of systems to be found in the Greater Houston and surrounding area. We believe in technology, innovation and excellence. We use state-of-the-art cleaning equipment and tools and for our indoor solutions, we only use HEPA filtered collection devices and our technicians are trained according to NADCA Standards ACR2002.

The state of Texas requires all HVAC ventilation system cleaning service providers to have a TACL license. Such a license is applied for through the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration and is required to be renewed yearly. MBM’s technicians carry an up-to-date copy of our TACL license with them (along with copies of our other certifications and memberships, proof of insurance and bond, and client testimonials).

For more information on the TACL or other Texas State Licenses, visit www.license.state.tx.us.

A NADCA Certified Company

With an issue as important as indoor air pollution you want to be assured you are using the most qualified company to protect your indoor air quality. Unfortunately, this can be difficult to do in an industry not regulated by any governmental agency or standardized testing. Consequently, the National Air Duct Cleaning Association (NADCA) was created to fill this need. NADCA is the only organization that sets standards for Air Duct Cleaning and Ventilation System Cleaning in the United States.

NADCA’s Standards are so high the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) made this statement in their consumer checklist for choosing an air duct cleaning company: "Make sure the service provider follows the National Air Duct Cleaning Association’s (NADCA) standards." They further state “if a service provider fails to follow proper air duct cleaning procedures, such cleaning can cause indoor air problems. A careless or inadequately trained service provider can damage your ducts or HVAC ventilation systems.

Ventilation and Air Duct system Cleaning Companies must meet stringent requirements to become a NADCA Member. Most importantly, all NADCA Members must have certified Air System Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) on staff, who have taken and passed the NADCA Certification Examination. Passing the exam demonstrates extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning methodologies. The exam includes passing the ACR (Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration) 2002 training, the most comprehensive training in the industry. Our ASCS are also VSMR (Ventilation System Microbial Remediation) Certified in response to Houston’s high mold concentration due to the area’s high humidity.

In order to remain a qualified ASCS and a NADCA Member, the specialist must further their industry education by attending seminars yearly. NADCA Members have signed a Code of Ethics stating they will do everything possible to protect the consumer, and follow NADCA Standards for cleaning to the best of their ability.
